“ I am new to downtown and was still moving into my place when I searched up Mexican food at 20 min to 9. Most places were closed already because the hours were wrong on Google, or they had just closed early. Not Ernesto’s. I was able to quickly order online for pickup and the process was easy and the navigation through the ordering system simple and straightforward. I was feeling kind of bad for ordering at the last minute because I am sure that they were probably already cleaned up and waiting to go home. I got there to pick my food up and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The young lady at the front desk retrieved my order and engaged in conversation with me about my move. While I have experienced some places being short and curt to last minute me, Ernesto’s employees were engaging and didn’t make me feel rushed or like they were inconvenienced. I got the food home and was amazed with the portions. The chili relleno sauce was delicious and the enchilada was oozing with lots of cheese and red sauce. Them black beans are out of this world in flavor and cooking perfection. Soft, appetizing and filling. I got chips and salsa as a side and the pico de gallo was flavorful but too many unripe tomatoes were used in the batch I got. It was too crunchy rather than soft and textured. I also had the green salsa and man it was so good with the chips. You’ve got to stop and try their food. It’s a step above and the service (in the short interaction I had with them) was right up there with the food. Going to go back for sure!! ”
“ This place freshly makes some high-quality, healthy Mexican food. It has a good flavor and isn't greasy. I also ask for their extra spices salsa. Their margaritas are pretty good, too. My wife doesn't drink tequila, so they happily make hers with vodka. ”

We were just there to have a liquid snack, but they gave us delicious chips and salsa to wash down the sangrias. Being in walking distance, we look forward to coming back for the happy hour. ”
